On February the 20th, Falun Gong practitioners from Indonesia visited the Thailand embassy in Indonesia.
They peacefully appealed the arrest of 22 Falun Gong practitioners by Thailand police on February the 8th.
The practitioners were appealing to the Thailand government not to help the Chinese Communist Party persecute Falun Gong and to immediately release the detained practitioners in Thailand.
The appeal received the support of Indonesian police who secured the area and asked Thailand’s embassy to invite the practitioners to discuss the issue.

A controversial anti-drugs campaign in Thailand, which reportedly killed 2,500 people, may be reinforced by Thai Prime Minister Samak Sundaravej.
He said he would use the same ruthless tactics as his political patron and predecessor, Thaksin Shinawatra, who was ousted in a military coup in 2006.
While Mr. Thaksin’s 2003-2004 campaign was popular support briefly curbed Thailand’s rising drug problem, it resulted in some 2,500 deaths.
Human rights groups accused police of extra-judicial killings, saying many of the dead were later proved to have been innocent.

Japan’s defence minister has said incidents involving US troops posted in Japan could “shake the foundation” of US-Japanese ties.
Shigeru Ishiba also urged the US to take concrete prevention measures.
The warning comes after two rape allegations in just 10 days against US servicemen on the island of Okinawa.
Meanwhile, Foreign Minister Masahiko Komura announced new surveillance measures agreed with the US to guard against crime around US bases.
Last week, a US marine living off base was arrested, accused of raping a 14-year-old girl.
The marine admits forcibly kissing her but denies rape. US military and civilian officials have apologised for the incident.

Wu Fan said the awakened domestic public support the Transitional Government
On February the 19th, President of the Chinese Transitional Government, Wu Fan, claimed that recently many urban and rural residents of Heilongjiang and Liaoning Province openly declared their support for the transitional government.
They expressed that they would help spread the Publication “Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party”, and encourage the general public to quit the CCP. Wu Fan believes this will awaken the Mainland Chinese people.
He said the Chinese people have suffered from the rule of the Communist Party, not just from this generation, but since 3 generations ago. They now they want to break free from the Communist Party’s rule.

A report was issued on the 21st of February by a human rights organization saying that the Communist regime promised to protect Tibetan heritage by allowing the younger generation to still learn their national language.
However, it seems that the CCP is trying to eliminate the Tibetan language.
The CCP has adopted a series of laws with the Tibetan’s education in schools, forcing students to learn Chinese as early as possible.
Chinese has replaced Tibetan language in many areas of public life.
Students of Tibetan education aren’t able to obtain a university degree. Without mastering Chinese, Tibetans can hardly find a good job, and even face difficulties to establish themselves in society.

Netherlands is the third stop in the Europe tour of Divine Performing Arts on Tour.
Although this year is the fourth year that Divine Performing Arts on Tour had performed, it will be the first time for them to perform in the Netherlands.
On the 19th and 20th the Spectacular performed in the famous “World Forum Theatre” in The Hague.
Our local reporter interviewed a few audience members who said they had seen the performance last year in France.
They said they liked the show very much and it was very beautiful and very touching.
They said beginning of the performance, called “Creation” was the most touching.
The Chinese Spectacular Shows are tonight performing in Seoul and London.
